The location was great, the beach just across the road and supermarket 3 min walk too. The room was very clean with lots of space! I enjoyed my time at Poppies, and I would easily recommend them. The restaurant was close, I guess, because it's raining season. Thank you!

Perfect location, along the main road and 2 min walk to the beach but the driveway is long enough with a small garden area leading to the hotel that you don’t hear any traffic or noise! There is a restaurant attached which I would recommend and the reception staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. We had a great sleep- air con worked well and the bed had a thick, comfy mattress with a mosquito net. The hotel is slightly dated but has been up kept well to make a great stay. Mirissa beach is beautiful and had great shops, bars and restaurants, we wished we could have stayed longer

Great location close to the beach but far enough from the main road to limit noise. Staff were excellent! Room was very comfortable and clean.

Staff were lovely and helpful, assisted with onward transport and activities, gave us water when shops closed. Room as pictured, comfortable with working aircon. Generator on from 6pm if power out which was much appreciated. Poppies delivers exactly as expected for great value.

We had a 2 night stay in Mirissa Beach. The room was basic but comfortable. The hotel is just few mins walking to the beach and it’s surrounded by shops, restaurants etc. We had a fruit platter breakfast as per request. And the wifi was good, the best we’d have in Sri Lanka.
